LA EMBLEMÁTICA AGRUPACIÓN COLOMBIANA COMPITE POR TERCER AÑO CONSECUTIVO EN LA CATEGORÍA ARTISTA TROPICAL DEL AÑO, DÚO O GRUPO.

Miami, FL – 10 de septiembre de 2026 – Grupo Niche vuelve a figurar entre los finalistas de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina, con una nominación en la categoría Artista Tropical del Año, Dúo o Grupo para la edición 2026, marcando así su tercer año consecutivo compitiendo por este reconocimiento.

La agrupación colombiana también fue finalista en esta misma categoría en 2024 y 2025, una continuidad que adquiere especial relevancia dentro de unos premios determinados por el desempeño de artistas, canciones y álbumes en las listas de Billboard, a partir de indicadores como ventas, reproducciones en streaming, difusión radial y giras.

El reconocimiento llega tras un periodo especialmente activo para Grupo Niche, coincidente con la ventana de elegibilidad de los premios, que comprende las listas de Billboard fechadas entre el 13 de septiembre de 2025 y el 5 de septiembre de 2026. Durante ese tiempo, la agrupación presentó lanzamientos como “Mi Mundo Al Revés”, junto a Grupo Cañaveral de Humberto Pabón; “Barranquilla Está De Moda” y “Realidad-Es”, además de su nuevo álbum de estudio, Más Que Palabras, lanzado en mayo.

Esta nueva presencia entre los finalistas se suma a una trayectoria que mantiene a Grupo Niche como uno de los grandes referentes de la salsa colombiana a nivel internacional, con un repertorio construido a lo largo de décadas y una propuesta que continúa ocupando espacios relevantes dentro de la música tropical.

Los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2026 se celebrarán el próximo 22 de octubre en el James L. Knight Center de Miami, Florida, y serán transmitidos en vivo por Telemundo y Peacock

THE ICONIC COLOMBIAN GROUP COMPETES FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR IN THE TROPICAL ARTIST OF THE YEAR, DUO OR GROUP CATEGORY.

Miami, FL – September 10, 2026 – Grupo Niche is once again among the finalists for the Billboard Latin Music Awards, earning a nomination in the Tropical Artist of the Year, Duo or Group category for the 2026 edition, marking its third consecutive year competing for this honor.

The Colombian group was also a finalist in this same category in 2024 and 2025, a consistency that carries particular weight at an awards show determined by the performance of artists, songs and albums on the Billboard charts, based on indicators such as sales, streaming activity, radio airplay and touring.

The recognition follows a particularly active period for Grupo Niche, coinciding with the awards’ eligibility window, which covers Billboard charts dated from September 13, 2025 through September 5, 2026. During that time, the group released songs including “Mi Mundo Al Revés,” alongside Grupo Cañaveral de Humberto Pabón; “Barranquilla Está De Moda” and “Realidad-Es,” as well as its new studio album, Más Que Palabras, released in May.

This latest appearance among the finalists adds to a trajectory that has kept Grupo Niche positioned as one of the leading references of Colombian salsa on the international stage, backed by a catalog built over decades and a musical presence that continues to hold a relevant place within tropical music.

The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place on October 22 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida, and will air live on Telemundo and Peacock.
