LA ORQUESTA COLOMBIANA SERÁ PARTE DEL CONCIERTO BENÉFICO QUE REUNIRÁ A FIGURAS DE LA MÚSICA EL 23 DE AGOSTO EN VIVE CLARO DISTRITO CULTURAL, EN BOGOTÁ, CON EL PROPÓSITO DE CONTRIBUIR A LA RECONSTRUCCIÓN DE LAS ZONAS MÁS AFECTADAS

Miami, FL – 18 de agosto de 2026 – Grupo Niche se suma a “Colombia: Voces por la Vida”, el concierto benéfico que reunirá el próximo domingo 23 de agosto a artistas y distintos sectores de la industria musical en Vive Claro Distrito Cultural, en Bogotá, para apoyar a las familias afectadas por el terremoto ocurrido en Colombia el pasado 10 de agosto. El 100% de los aportes realizados será destinado a Presentes Corporación para contribuir a la reconstrucción de las zonas más afectadas, bajo un comité de ejecución y seguimiento.

La participación de Grupo Niche adquiere un significado especial ante una emergencia que ha golpeado directamente al occidente del país, incluyendo a Cali, ciudad estrechamente ligada a la historia y la identidad musical de la agrupación, y al Chocó, departamento del que era oriundo el maestro Jairo Varela, fundador de Grupo Niche. De acuerdo con el Servicio Geológico Colombiano, el sismo alcanzó una magnitud de 7,4 y tuvo su epicentro en San José del Palmar, Chocó, convirtiéndose en el evento sísmico de mayor magnitud registrado en Colombia en lo que va del siglo XXI.

“Colombia: Voces por la Vida” surge como una respuesta conjunta de la industria musical ante la emergencia. Artistas, promotores, productores, medios de comunicación, marcas, proveedores y equipos técnicos están aportando su trabajo, infraestructura y servicios sin cobrar honorarios ni costos directos para hacer posible la jornada. Grupo Niche compartirá la convocatoria con artistas como Andrés Cepeda, ChocQuibTown, Greeicy, Maluma, Manuel Medrano, Manuel Turizo, Miguel Bosé, Pedro Capó, Sebastián Yatra y Silvestre Dangond, entre otros, mientras Karol G tendrá una participación especial vía livestream en colaboración con su Fundación Con Cora.

Los aportes pueden realizarse desde $100.000 COP a través de Ticketmaster Colombia, y quienes hagan su donación podrán recibir entradas para asistir al concierto. La iniciativa también permite contribuir sin estar presente en el evento, ampliando la posibilidad de apoyar desde Colombia y otros países. Los recursos serán canalizados a través de Presentes Corporación para apoyar la reconstrucción de viviendas y acompañar a las comunidades afectadas.

THE COLOMBIAN ORCHESTRA WILL TAKE PART IN THE BENEFIT CONCERT BRINGING TOGETHER LEADING MUSIC FIGURES ON AUGUST 23 AT VIVE CLARO DISTRITO CULTURAL IN BOGOTÁ, WITH THE GOAL OF SUPPORTING THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE HARDEST-HIT AREAS.

Miami, FL – August 18, 2026 – Grupo Niche is joining “Colombia: Voces por la Vida,” the benefit concert that will bring together artists and different sectors of the music industry on Sunday, August 23, at Vive Claro Distrito Cultural in Bogotá to support families affected by the earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10. One hundred percent of the contributions will be directed to Presentes Corporación to support reconstruction efforts in the hardest-hit areas, under the oversight of an implementation and monitoring committee.

Grupo Niche’s participation carries special significance as the emergency has directly impacted western Colombia, including Cali, a city closely tied to the group’s history and musical identity, as well as Chocó, the department where the group’s founder, Jairo Varela, was born. According to the Colombian Geological Service, the earthquake reached a magnitude of 7.4 and had its epicenter in San José del Palmar, Chocó, making it the strongest seismic event recorded in Colombia so far this century.

“Colombia: Voces por la Vida” was created as a collective response from the music industry to the emergency. Artists, promoters, producers, media outlets, brands, vendors and technical teams are contributing their work, infrastructure and services without charging fees or direct costs in order to make the event possible. Grupo Niche will join a lineup that includes Andrés Cepeda, ChocQuibTown, Greeicy, Maluma, Manuel Medrano, Manuel Turizo, Miguel Bosé, Pedro Capó, Sebastián Yatra and Silvestre Dangond, among others, while Karol G will make a special appearance via livestream in collaboration with her Fundación Con Cora.

Contributions can be made starting at COP $100,000 through Ticketmaster Colombia, with donors eligible to receive tickets to attend the concert. The initiative also allows people to contribute without attending the event, expanding the opportunity to support the effort from Colombia and abroad. Funds will be channeled through Presentes Corporación to help rebuild homes and provide support to affected communities.
