Miami, August 1, 2024. Jaze, known for his impressive track record in international freestyle competitions such as Red Bull and FMS in which he has achieved the title of champion, has released his new single and video clip titled "Mil Procedimientos". The Peruvian states that his new production is a part of his essence and is excited to show it to the world.
This song, which combines elements of indie and pop with touches reminiscent of his previous hits such as "Las Consecuencias" and "La Terminal", once again demonstrates his talent and versatility.
Mil Procedimientos" was produced by Nicolás Btesh, member of the band Conociendo Rusia, and Diego Mema, Latin Grammy nominated musician and producer from Córdoba. Together they have created a piece that captures Jaze's personal essence, inspired by a summer experience in Lima and developed in Buenos Aires. The creative process was described by Jaze as a very special experience, reflecting both his essence and that of a close friend.

The music video, shot in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, and directed by Sebastian Lynch of 4bismo, tells the story of an inexperienced sailor who navigates in a sea of uncertainty, guided by his heart in search of new horizons. Jaze shared his enthusiasm for the experience, mentioning how incredible it was to get to know Mar del Plata and even drive a boat for the first time.
"This song comes up one morning last summer in the south of Lima; I was with a friend going to have breakfast on the beach and suddenly the hook of the song came to my mind, and I recorded a humming voice note, several months later I faced the composition. I started to write the lyrics inspired by my personal drives and my essence, but eventually I ended up writing for a very special friend of mine that I met in college, in whom I always saw myself very much reflected and I felt that just the approach I gave to the lyrics and the theme in general fit both him and me.
It was a very special process from the first idea to having the video and the track at 100%, and I'm very excited to finally be able to release it to the world," said the artist.

About Jaze
Jaze is a 24 year old Peruvian artist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. During his adolescence, he became known as a freestyler, winning international competitions such as Red Bull and FMS. In 2019 he started his musical career as a solo artist, releasing several songs until 2021 when he released "Personality 7", his first album.
With "Toy Lokazo", his second album, he presented his alter-ego and began to gain territory in the music scene not only in his country but also in Latin America. With more than half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, more than a million followers on Instagram, and an experimental sound that mixes hip-hop, roots sounds and electronic bases, Jaze is positioned as one of the most interesting proposals of the new generation of Latin American artists.
