Miami, FL (28 de agosto del 2026) – FABIÁN presenta “Qué Lástima”, su nuevo sencillo de pop construido alrededor de la tensión de un encuentro que parece estar a punto de convertirse en algo más, pero termina interrumpido antes de comenzar. Acompañado por la guitarra, el cantautor convierte esa sensación de curiosidad y deseo en la pregunta que atraviesa toda la canción, ¿qué habría pasado si la otra persona hubiera decidido quedarse?
La letra sitúa a dos personas en medio de una atracción evidente, justo cuando ella está por marcharse y su pareja la espera afuera. FABIÁN intenta convencerla de prolongar el momento, mientras el coro gira alrededor de la curiosidad por todo lo que podría pasar si ella decidiera quedarse. El video oficial traslada ese mismo juego de atracción y posibilidades a una historia con un tono más juguetón: FABIÁN y otro joven realizan un casting en un estudio y, después de recibir a dos candidatas que no logran convencerlos, una tercera los cautiva inmediatamente. Ella sale feliz tras ser seleccionada, pero cuando él se acerca a la ventana para verla marcharse descubre que su novio la espera afuera en un automóvil, dando un giro a la escena y conectándose directamente con la premisa de “Qué lástima”.

Una de las características que define la propuesta de FABIÁN es su capacidad para convertir situaciones cotidianas en canciones con una narrativa clara, visual y cercana. Accompanied by guitar, the singer-songwriter turns that feeling of curiosity and desire into the question that runs throughout the song: what would have happened if the other person had decided to stay?
The lyrics place two people in the middle of an undeniable attraction, just as she is about to leave and her partner is waiting outside. FABIÁN tries to convince her to prolong the moment, while the chorus revolves around the curiosity of everything that could happen if she decided to stay. The official video brings that same interplay of attraction and possibilities into a story with a more playful tone: FABIÁN and another young man hold a casting session at a studio and, after meeting two candidates who fail to convince them, a third immediately captivates them. She leaves happily after being selected, but when he approaches the window to watch her leave, he discovers that her boyfriend is waiting outside in a car, adding a twist to the scene and connecting directly to the premise of “Qué Lástima.”
