La historia comienza cuando una mujer vuelve a llamar en el momento menos indicado. Mientras él intentaba resolver su vida y se encontraba con otra persona, no podía dejar de pensar en ella. Ahora ella tiene novio, pero el contacto despierta nuevamente sus ganas de saber de ella y la posibilidad de retomar una conexión que nunca terminó de desaparecer por completo.

Producida por Oceanvi, “PiKETUA” combina una base de trap de pulso contenido con melodías envolventes y una interpretación íntima de DIA. El resultado es una canción que se mueve entre la tensión del deseo, la nostalgia y la frustración de un mal momento, manteniendo una energía sensual.

“PiKETUA” llega pocas semanas después del lanzamiento de DAME UN BREi, ESTOY EN Mi, el EP de seis canciones presentado por DIA el pasado 30 de julio, en el que exploró un sonido más inclinado hacia el trap y el R&B, encabezado por “MiSS COACHELLA”. Con este nuevo sencillo, el artista continúa explorando el trap sin abandonar la escritura emocional y las historias de relaciones, atracción y conversaciones que permanecen sin cerrar.

El lanzamiento también encuentra a DIA en medio de su nominación a Premios Juventud 2026 en la categoría La Nueva Generación Masculina, como parte de un año marcado por nueva música y una etapa de mayor exposición para el artista puertorriqueño.

The story begins when a woman calls again at the worst possible moment. While he was trying to sort out his life and spending time with someone else, he could not stop thinking about her. She now has a boyfriend, but the renewed contact reignites his desire to know more about her and the possibility of returning to a connection that never completely disappeared.

Produced by Oceanvi, “PiKETUA” combines a restrained trap foundation with immersive melodies and an intimate performance from DIA. The result is a song that moves between the tension of desire, nostalgia and the frustration of bad timing, while maintaining a sensual energy.

“PiKETUA” arrives just weeks after the release of DAME UN BREi, ESTOY EN Mi, DIA’s six-track EP released on July 30, in which he explored a sound more heavily influenced by trap and R&B, led by “MiSS COACHELLA.” With this new single, the artist continues exploring trap without leaving behind the emotionally driven songwriting and stories of relationships, attraction and unresolved conversations that have shaped his recent work.
