Miami, FL – July 28, 2026 – Boza earned a 2026 Premios Juventud nomination for “Paris” with Sech in the Best Pop/Urban Song category. The recognition brings the Panamanian artist back to the awards with a song he debuted during the 2025 edition and that, less than a year later, is now among the nominees for this year’s ceremony.
Built around a slow, melodic afrobeat sound, the song portrays two people who tried to move forward separately but remain tied to a relationship they were unable to leave completely behind. Photographs from a trip they shared become the starting point for a conversation shaped by nostalgia, desire and the possibility of revisiting what was left unresolved.
“Paris” is part of Boza’s most recent musical chapter and has now received a new interpretation as part of Boza Acústicos, the audiovisual series released this month in which the artist revisits five songs from his catalog alongside a live band. The project also includes new versions of “san blaS,” “Qué Prefieres?” with Beéle, “orióN” and “Ella” with Beéle, all presented in a more intimate and organic format.
Throughout 2026, Boza has also expanded his presence beyond music releases. The artist supported Panama’s national team as the country’s musical ambassador during the 2026 FIFA World Cup and participated in Milan Fashion Week, where he walked in GARCIAS’ debut presentation as part of the Spring/Summer 2027 menswear calendar.
Premios Juventud 2026 will take place on Thursday, September 3, at the Auditorio Starlite in Marbella, Spain, marking the first edition of the ceremony to be held outside the Americas. The awards will air beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on Univision and will also be available on UNIMÁS, Galavisión and ViX. Fans can vote for Boza from July 28 through August 11 at 2:59 a.m. ET on the official Premios Juventud website.
