Miami, FL – July 28, 2026 – ANNASOFIA has been nominated for 2026 Premios Juventud in the New Generation – Female Artist category, which recognizes emerging artists beginning to make their mark on Latin music. The nomination was announced today as part of the official list for the 23rd edition of the awards.
The recognition arrives after a defining period for the Colombian singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Following her first Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Best New Artist in 2025, ANNASOFIA began 2026 as one of Billboard’s 26 Latin artists to watch and was later selected for Rolling Stone’s Future of Music 25. She also received two Premios Nuestra Tierra nominations for Best Female Pop Artist and Best Pop Song for “Humo.”
Her most recent release, “BULLA,” which premiered in April, opened a bolder new chapter in her alternative pop sound and offers a glimpse of the musical direction she is currently developing.
The nomination also follows an active performance schedule that began in February, when ANNASOFIA opened for Kali Uchis at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena as part of the Latin American leg of The Sincerely, Tour. She later performed as Sebastián Yatra’s special guest at the same venue and joined Pablo Alborán for three dates of his Global Tour KM0 in Madrid and Valencia. In June, she returned to Miami to perform at Casa ¡HOLA!, where she presented “BULLA” and “Déjame Intentar.”
Premios Juventud 2026 will take place on Thursday, September 3, at the Auditorio Starlite in Marbella, Spain, marking the first edition of the awards to be held outside the Americas. The ceremony will air beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on Univision. Fans can vote for ANNASOFIA from July 28 through August 11 at 2:59 a.m. ET on the official Premios Juventud website.
