Miami, FL – July 16, 2026 – Free Cover joins “Unidos Por Venezuela – Live Benefit Concert & National Telethon,” the international benefit concert and telethon taking place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, with the purpose of raising funds for the families and communities affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
The Venezuelan project founded by Daniel “Chompa” Bracho and Alejandro “Neg” Barrera will be part of a lineup featuring some of the most important voices in Latin music, including Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, Feid, Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Silvestre Dangond, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Olga Tañón, SanLuis, Piso 21, Lasso, Alleh and Zhamira Zambrano, along with more artists joining the cause.
For Free Cover, taking part in “Unidos Por Venezuela” carries a meaning deeply tied to its origins. What began in 2017 as a gathering of musicians and friends in a house in Maracaibo has become one of the most beloved Venezuelan music platforms among Latin audiences, with more than 70 sessions and over 900 million accumulated views. During a day marked by solidarity, Free Cover will bring to the stage the spirit that has defined its story: live music, closeness and collective emotion.
Its presence at the event connects directly with the Venezuelan diaspora and with an audience that has found in its sessions a way to return home, even if only through a song.
“Unidos Por Venezuela” is an initiative led by CMN, Maestro Cares Foundation, TelevisaUnivision and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with the support of iHeartRadio, Spotify, Creative Link, EB Public Relations and Arco Entertainment. In addition to the live concert, the event will feature an international broadcast for audiences in the United States, Latin America and digital platforms, expanding the reach of the fundraising efforts and supporting the country’s recovery process.
During the broadcast, the public will be able to donate through QR codes, text messages, digital platforms, corporate contributions and donation-matching campaigns. The funds raised will support programs for food assistance, medical care, medicine, temporary shelters, housing solutions, child protection, mental health and family reunification, in collaboration with international humanitarian organizations.
Free Cover’s participation comes at a key moment for the project, as it continues to expand its catalog of live sessions with artists and repertoires that have shaped Latin music, while approaching one billion views. With its participation in “Unidos Por Venezuela,” the collective joins an event conceived not only as a musical gathering, but as a call for urgent and sustained aid. In the midst of a tragedy that has deeply impacted the country, Free Cover brings its music to a stage where every song can also become a gesture of support, unity and hope for Venezuela.
Tickets for “Unidos Por Venezuela – Live Benefit Concert & National Telethon” will be available beginning Friday, July 17, at 10:00 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster.
