Julio 28 del 2022. Los amantes de la música agradecerán este encuentro, pues finalmente se cruzan los caminos de dos grandes referentes del Pop Romántico en Latinoamérica: Andrés Cepeda y la agrupación mexicana Reik conformada por Jesús Navarro, Julio Ramírez y Gilberto Marín, proponen esta canción que abraza el sentir y el estilo de ambas partes. 

“Tu despertador” es una canción que habla de una relación que está en pausa y que pide tiempo para volver a ser lo que alguna vez fue. Es el ruego por un pronto regreso, una advertencia de que ningún nuevo amor será mejor. 

Esta colaboración parte de la buena sinergia que surgió entre Jesús (Reik) y Andrés como jurados en la Voz Colombia en 2021.

Al respecto, Andrés Cepeda dice: “Siempre quise hacer una colaboración con Reik. Me siento muy bien representado por estos grandes amigos que quiero y admiro muchísimo, desde hace tiempo y eso se ve en el resultado final de esta canción. Siempre que me preguntaban con qué artista mexicano quería hacer una colaboración, mi primera respuesta era REIK. Es maravilloso poder haber coincidido con Jesús en La Voz Colombia, donde inició una gran amistad. Esto luego me permitió conocer a sus compañeros y grabar este soñado dueto”.

“De las mejores cosas que me pasaron en la Voz Colombia, fue encontrarme con Andrés Cepeda. Tuve la oportunidad de acercarme a su carrera y me impresionó mucho la calidad de artista que es y la pasión con la que hace su música. Esta rola fue grabada en medio de una gran camaradería y producida por un equipo increíble. Estoy encantado y emocionado de que todo nuestro público la escuche”, afirma Jesús Navarro, vocalista de la banda mexicana. 

La producción de “Tu Despertador” estuvo a cargo de Andrés Torres y Mauricio Rengifo, fue grabada en Los Ángeles y fue mezclada y masterizada por Tom Norris.

EL video se grabó en los estudios de TV Azteca en Ciudad de México, bajo la dirección de Andrés Ibáñez y la Productora StereoSonique.

Adicionalmente, el cantautor colombiano, originario de Bogotá, Colombia, presenta LA RUTA PÚRPURA, una gira con la que recorrerá los principales escenarios de Norteamérica. En los shows que llevará a esta lista de teatros y centros de arte, Andrés Cepeda interpretará los éxitos más grandes de su carrera, esa que se ha extendido por más de 20 años convirtiéndolo en uno de los artistas pop más importantes de su País. Su actuación estará acompañada por sus excelentes músicos que han recorrido con él muchas partes del mundo.

• Andrés Cepeda and Reik present TU DESPERTADOR, a romantic song that will be available everywhere on July 28.

Miami, Fl, July 28 2022. Music lovers and pop fanatics will love this collaboration , which finally see the musical paths of two iconic figures of Latin American romantic pop, cross and meet . Andrés Cepeda and Mexican band Reik, formed by Jesús Navarro, Julio Ramírez and Gilberto Marín, present this single which embraces the emotion and style of both artists.

“Tu despertador” s a song that talks about a relationship that’s taking a break and it´s hoping to go back to a time where things were better. It’s a plea to return and a romantic warning that a new love might not be better.

This collaboration is rooted in the positive synergy that resulted between Jesús (Reik) and Andrés as they met while being judges on La Voz Colombia in 2021. A local version of The Voice. 

About the collaboration Andrés Cepeda says: “I always wanted to collaborate with Reik. I feel very well represented by these great friends whom I’ve really loved and admired for a long time, and you can feel it in the final version of this song. When I was asked about which Mexican artist I wanted to collaborate with, my first answer was always REIK. It’s wonderful to have coincided with Jesús on La Voz Colombia, where a great friendship began. This allowed me to meet his bandmates and to record this dream duet.”

“One of the best things that happened to me on La Voz Colombia was meeting Andrés Cepeda. I had the opportunity to be closer to his career, and the quality of artist that he is and the passion with which he makes his music really impressed me. This song was recorded amidst a great camaraderie and produced by an incredible team. I’m thrilled and excited for our fans to hear it,” comments Jesús Navarro, the Mexican band’s vocalist.

Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo produced the song, which was recorded in Los Angeles and mixed and mastered by Tom Norris.

The video was filmed at TV Azteca studios in Mexico City under the direction of Andrés Ibañez and producer StereoSonique.

With dates in October and November 2022, La Ruta Purpura will visit some of the most historic and iconic theatres, arts centers and a few local city and fan favorite venues.

Originally from Bogota, Colombia, the singer- songwriter and Latin Grammy winner, Andres Cepeda will bring a special performance to these list of theaters and arts centers , where he will visit songs from his career, a career that has spanned over 20 years making him one of the most important pop artists in his hometown. His performance will be accompanied by his skillful musicians that have toured with him many parts of the world
