Miami, FL – 25 de junio de 2026 – Corazón Serrano presenta una nueva versión de “Vivir Mi Vida” junto a Sergio George y Gente de Zona, una colaboración que lleva el exitoso tema de Marc Anthony, reconocido y galardonado a nivel internacional, a una celebración masiva de identidad latina. Grabado en vivo durante la celebración de aniversario de la agrupación ante cerca de 50 mil personas en el Estadio San Marcos de Lima, el lanzamiento captura la energía de una noche histórica para la cumbia peruana y la proyecta hacia un nuevo cruce de sonidos tropicales.

Fundada en Piura en 1993, Corazón Serrano es una de las agrupaciones más importantes y queridas de la música popular peruana. Con más de tres décadas de trayectoria, el grupo ha convertido la cumbia norteña en un fenómeno masivo, llevando sus historias, voces y raíces a escenarios multitudinarios y conectando con distintas generaciones dentro y fuera del Perú. Su sonido, profundamente ligado al sentimiento popular, ha sido clave para mantener viva y en expansión una de las expresiones musicales más representativas del país.

En esta nueva lectura, “Vivir Mi Vida” adquiere una sonoridad más festiva y acelerada, cercana al espíritu del merengue, sin perder su esencia de himno popular. Corazón Serrano lleva al centro la fuerza de la cumbia peruana, mientras Sergio George y Gente de Zona aportan el pulso caribeño a una versión que celebra la diversidad de los sonidos latinos. La colaboración cuenta además con la participación especial de BK, productor musical y DJ reconocido por su trabajo en grandes éxitos de la música latina. 

Para George, “Vivir Mi Vida”, una de las piezas más emblemáticas de su catálogo, representa un capítulo importante dentro de una trayectoria de más de cuatro décadas, marcada por múltiples premios Grammy y Latin Grammy, reconocimientos como Productor del Año y una influencia decisiva en la evolución de la salsa y la música tropical contemporánea.

Recorded live during the group’s anniversary celebration before nearly 50,000 people at Lima’s Estadio San Marcos, the release captures the energy of a historic night for Peruvian cumbia and projects it into a new crossover of tropical sounds.

Founded in Piura in 1993, Corazón Serrano is one of the most important and beloved groups in Peruvian popular music. With more than three decades of history, the group has turned northern Peruvian cumbia into a massive phenomenon, bringing its stories, voices and roots to large-scale stages and connecting with different generations in Peru and beyond.
