El reconocido artista peruano presenta una cautivadora fusión de indie y pop en su más reciente lanzamiento

Miami, 1 de agosto de 2024. Jaze, conocido por su impresionante trayectoria en competencias internacionales de freestyle como Red Bull y FMS en las cuales ha alcanzado el título de campeón, ha lanzado su nuevo single y videoclip titulado “Mil Procedimientos”. El peruano manifiesta que su nueva producción es una parte de su esencia y está emocionado por mostrarla al mundo.

Esta canción, que combina elementos del indie y pop con toques reminiscentes de sus éxitos anteriores como “Las Consecuencias” y “La Terminal”, demuestra una vez más su talento y versatilidad.

La producción de “Mil Procedimientos” estuvo a cargo de Nicolás Btesh, integrante de la banda Conociendo Rusia, y Diego Mema, músico y productor cordobés nominado a los Latin Grammy. Juntos han creado una pieza que captura la esencia personal de Jaze, inspirada en una experiencia veraniega en Lima y desarrollada en Buenos Aires. El proceso creativo fue descrito por Jaze como una experiencia muy especial, reflejando tanto su esencia como la de un amigo cercano. 

El videoclip, rodado en Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, y dirigido por Sebastian Lynch de 4bismo, narra la historia de un marinero inexperto que navega en un mar de incertidumbres, guiado por su corazón en busca de nuevos horizontes. Jaze compartió su entusiasmo por la experiencia, mencionando lo increíble que fue conocer Mar del Plata y hasta manejar un barco por primera vez. 

“Este tema surge una mañana del verano pasado en el sur de Lima; estaba con un amigo yendo a desayunar en la playa y de pronto se me ocurre el hook de la canción, y grabé una nota de voz tarareando, varios meses después encaré la composición. Empecé a escribir la letra inspirada en mis manejos personales y mi esencia, pero eventualmente acabé escribiendo para un amigo mío muy especial que conocí en la universidad, en quien siempre me vi muy reflejado y sentía que justo el enfoque que le daba a la letra y el tema en general se ajustaban tanto a él como a mí.  

Fue un proceso muy especial desde la primera idea hasta tener el video y el track al 100%, y estoy muy emocionado de por fin poder soltarla al mundo¨, comentó el artista.

Jaze es un artista peruano de 24 años radicado en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Durante su adolescencia, se dio a conocer como freestyler, ganando competencias internacionales como Red Bull y FMS. En 2019 inició su carrera musical como solista, lanzando varias canciones hasta que en 2021 lanzó “Personalidad 7”, su primer álbum.

The renowned Peruvian artist presents a captivating fusion of indie and pop in his latest release

Miami, August 1, 2024. Jaze, celebrated for his remarkable success in international freestyle competitions like Red Bull and FMS, where he claimed champion titles, has unveiled his new single and music video, “Mil Procedimientos.” The Peruvian artist shares that this new production is a reflection of his essence, and he is thrilled to present it to the world.

The song seamlessly blends elements of indie and pop, with hints reminiscent of his previous hits “Las Consecuencias” and “La Terminal,” once again showcasing his talent and versatility.

“Mil Procedimientos” was produced by Nicolás Btesh of Conociendo Rusia and Córdoba-based musician and Latin Grammy-nominated producer Diego Mema. Together, they crafted a piece capturing Jaze’s personal essence, inspired by a summer experience in Lima and developed in Buenos Aires. Jaze described the creative process as very special, reflecting both his essence and that of a close friend.

The music video, shot in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, and directed by Sebastian Lynch of 4bismo, tells the story of an inexperienced sailor navigating a sea of uncertainties, guided by his heart in search of new horizons. Jaze expressed his enthusiasm for the experience, noting how incredible it was to discover Mar del Plata and even steer a boat for the first time.

“This song came to me one morning last summer in the south of Lima; I was with a friend going to have breakfast on the beach when suddenly the hook of the song came to mind, and I recorded a voice note humming it. Several months later, I began the composition.

I started writing the lyrics inspired by my personal dealings and essence, but eventually, I ended up writing for a very special friend I met at university, in whom I always saw myself reflected and felt that the focus I was giving to the lyrics and the theme in general fit both him and me. It was a very special process from the first idea to having the video and track at 100%, and I am very excited to finally release it to the world,” the artist commented.

Jaze, a 24-year-old Peruvian artist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, gained recognition during his teenage years as a freestyler, winning international competitions such as Red Bull and FMS.
