(20 de julio de 2023). Después del exitoso lanzamiento de su álbum en conjunto “Mimy & Tony”, la exitosa intérprete Mimy Succar, y su hijo, el aclamado artista, productor y compositor/arreglista ganador de dos Grammy Latino y un Grammy Anglo, Tony Succar, regresan hoy para encender el mes de julio, presentando su nuevo sencillo y video musical “AEO”, con la banda colombiana Cali Flow Latino.

Incluido en “Mimy & Tony”, “AEO” fue producido por Tony Succar junto a su hermano Kenyi, y es una Salsa Choke, un género que se originó en Colombia, que combina elementos de la salsa tradicional con el reggaetón. La canción fusiona el estilo único de Tony con la voz apasionada de Mimy y las innovadoras habilidades de producción de Kenyi, y es el himno perfecto del verano, lo que lo convierte en la opción perfecta para que los fanáticos de todo el mundo la agreguen a sus listas de reproducción de temporada y a la banda sonora de sus fiestas.

“El género Salsa Choke es muy animado, muy callejero e inspira a bailar. Fusionarlo con mi estilo de salsa fue un desafío, pero creo que con mi hermano Kenyi, que es un productor más urbano, logramos un sonido muy fresco que combina los dos mundos”, comparte Tony. “Cali Flow Latino es un dúo que tiene mucho swing, y junto con la voz de mi mamá Mimy Succar, creo que es una combinación y un contraste muy cool”.

El video musical oficial, que los fanáticos pueden ver ahora en YouTube, fue filmado en Cali, Colombia, bajo la dirección de Christian Silva y fue producido por Invictory Films. El colorido visual transporta a los fanáticos a una fiesta callejera en la ciudad conocida mundialmente como la “Capital de la Salsa”, donde pueden ver a los artistas jugar un partido de fútbol y ver a Mimy, Tony, Kenyi y Cali Flow Latino interpretar la canción con tanta energía y alegría, que se contagia a través de la pantalla.

Como intérprete, Mimy ha compartido escenario con artistas legendarios y mundialmente reconocidos como KC and the Sunshine Band y Carlos Oliva, entre muchos otros. Apareció por primera vez en televisión en el 2021 como concursante de “La Voz Senior”, donde su hijo Tony se desempeñaba como entrenador. Ese mismo año recibió el “Premio Luces” del prestigioso diario “El Comercio”, que la reconoció como Artista Revelación Musical. (July 20, 2023). After the successful release of their joint album“Mimy & Tony,” renowned performer Mimy Succar and and acclaimed Grammy Award and two time Latin Grammy winning artist, producer, and composer/arranger, Tony Succar, today return to ignite July with musical electricity, delivering their new single and music video “AEO” featuring Colombian band Cali Flow Latino.

Included on “Mimy & Tony,” “AEO” was produced by Tony Succar with his brother Kenyi, and is an inventive exploration of the salsa choke style, a genre that originated in Colombia. Erupting with infectious rhythms and melodies that blend elements of traditional salsa with reggaeton, the song fuses Tony’s high energy style with Mimy’s passion-driven vocals and Kenyi’s innovative production skills, and is the perfect summer anthem, making a vibrant choice for fans around the globe to add to their seasonal playlists and party soundtracks.

“The Salsa Choke genre is very lively, very backstreet, and inspires dancing. Fusing it with my salsa style was a challenge, but I think that with my brother Kenyi, who is a more urban producer, we achieved a very fresh sound combining the two worlds,” Tony shares. “Cali Flow Latino is a duo that has a lot of swing, and along with the voice of my mother Mimy Succar, I think that it’s a very cool combination and contrast.”

The official music video, which fans can watch now on YouTube, was filmed in Cali, Colombia, under the direction of Christian Silva and was produced by Invictory Films. The colorful visual transports fans to a neighborhood street party in the city known worldwide as the “Salsa Capital,” where they can watch the artists play a game of soccer and see Mimy, Tony, Kenyi, and Cali Flow Latino perform the song with so much explosive energy that it bursts right through the screen.

As a performer, Mimy has shared the stage with legendary, globally-recognized acts such as KC and the Sunshine Band and Carlos Oliva, among many others.
