El pasado jueves 8 de junio, el inquebrantable vínculo entre madre e hijo cobró vida en el escenario para que todos lo vieran en un espectacular show con entradas agotadas a cargo de la aclamada Mimy Succar y el ganador de un premio Grammy y dos premios Grammy Latinos Tony Succar en el Flamingo Theater Bar de Miami. (DATE). Last Thursday, June 8, the unbreakable bond between mother and son came alive on stage for all to see in a spectacular sold-out show delivered by the acclaimed Mimy Succar and Grammy Award and two-time Latin Grammy Award winner Tony Succar at Miami’s Flamingo Theater Bar. Tickets sold out the week prior.

Presenting their new album “Mimy & Tony” live for the first time, and to an audience of more than 600 fans, the always charming Mimy and charismatic Tony, who headed up percussion, were joined on stage by 18 incredible musicians, creating an immersive atmosphere and welcoming environment. The venue was filled with palpable energy and excitement, speaking to the unique power of music to bring people together.

Fans were up and dancing during the entire show, wholly captivated by the special performances that they were treated to that night, which included the sensational songs featured on the album. Mimy glowed from the inside out, dressed in stunning outfits and commanding the stage like a true icon as she offered refreshed interpretations of classics such as Celia Cruz’s hit “Quimbara” and Jorge Luis Piloto’s “No Me Acostumbro,” as well as original songs such as “Sin Fronteras” and “Pa’Lante un Pie.”

Nora Suzuki from the Japanese salsa band Orquesta De La Luz, who was featured on “Mimy & Tony” singing “Sukiyaki” alongside Mimy, made a special appearance on stage, performing with the Succars this extraordinary collaboration revived with an irresistible tropical arrangement that had the audience begging for more. Latin Grammy-nominated singer El Pollo Brito was also present to share an unforgettable performance of “Chabuca Limeña,” leaving the audience breathless.

About Mimy Succar

As a performer, Mimy has shared the stage with legendary, globally-recognized acts such as KC and the Sunshine Band and Carlos Oliva, among many others. She appeared for the first time on television in 2021 as a contestant on “La Voz Senior,” where her son Tony was serving as a coach. That same year, she received the “Premio Luces” award from the prestigious newspaper “El Comercio,” which recognized her as a Musical Breakout Artist.
