Miami, Fl (Martes 21 de Febrero 2023) A través de los años, DJ BASH ha logrado gran reconocimiento y posicionamiento dentro de la industria musical, esto como resultado del talento, pasión y respeto con el que hace su trabajo, es por eso que ha sido nominado en la categoría DJ del Año junto a otros grandes dj’s. 

Estos premios se llevarán a cabo el jueves 23 de febrero en Miami y premiarán lo mejor de la música latina, los ganadores serán elegidos a través de las votaciones que están abiertas al público hasta el 5 de febrero en www.univision.com.

Andrés Álvarez, conocido como DJ BASH, inició en la industria musical a sus 14 años trabajando para una empresa de sonido, fue allí donde nació su pasión por la música, esa misma que lo llevó en el año 2000 a estudiar en una escuela de dj’s de Medellín, allí tuvo la oportunidad de aprender y crecer al lado de Dj Tusso Mix, quien vio en BASH talento y le dio las bases necesarias para formarse como dj.

DJ BASH inició sus presentaciones en eventos privados, discotecas y sitios de gran exposición en su ciudad, experiencias que lo ayudaron a afianzar su conocimiento, en 2013 logra ser el opening de Don Omar y en 2017 se une a la gira Energía Tour de J Balvin llevando su talento por Colombia, Estados Unidos, México y diferentes ciudades de Europa.

En un evento que reunía artistas pioneros en el reggaetón, tuvo el primer acercamiento con Nicky Jam, más adelante el trabajo de BASH lo llevó a ser parte del equipo del cantante puertorriqueño ocupando el lugar de dj oficial.

El gran acople entre BASH y Nicky Jam se dio desde el primer momento, su sinergia los ha llevado a tener presencia en premios como Latin Grammy, Billboards, iHeart Radio, Spotify y pisar escenarios de grandes festivales como Reggaeton Beach Festival, Megaland, Baja Beach Fest, Nuremberg Airport Fest, Austin City Limits, Mala Luna Music Fest, Mia y Calibash Las Vegas y Los Ángeles, por solo nombrar algunos.

Algunos de los artistas con los que ha compartido escenario a lo largo de su carrera son J Balvin, Zion & Lenox, Arcangel, Ñengo Flow, Plan B, Tego Calderon, J Alvarez y dj’s como Diplo, David Guetta, Dj Snake, Gordo, entre otros.

DJ BASH es catalogado como uno de los mejores dj’s del género urbano, su gran desempeño en eventos masivos y festivales deja siempre un gran recordatorio e impacto en el público. Actualmente se encuentra de gira por Europa y Estados Unidos con Nicky Jam. Además, BASH trabaja en uno de sus grandes proyectos, convertirse en productor musical.

It is for that reason that he has been nominated in the DJ of the Year category alongside other great DJs.

Premio Lo Nuestro will take place on Thursday, February 23, in Miami and will reward the best in Latin music. The winners have been selected through voting via www.univision.com, which closed on February 5.

Andrés Álvarez, better known as DJ BASH, got his start in the music industry at the age of 14 working for a sound company. It was there that his passion for music was born, the same passion that led him in the year 2000 to study at a DJ school in Medellín. There he had the opportunity to learn and grow beside DJ Tusso Mix, who saw talent in BASH and gave him the foundations for training as a DJ.

DJ BASH’s first performances were at private events, clubs and places of high exposure in his city, experiences that helped him to solidify his knowledge. In 2013, he was the opening act for Don Omar and in 2017 he joined J Balvin’s Energía Tour, bringing his talent through Colombia, the United States, Mexico, and different cities in Europe.



In an event that brought together pioneering artists in reggaeton, he met Nicky Jam for the first time. Later,BASH’s work led him to be part of the Puerto Rican singer’s team, stepping in as his official DJ. 

The great coupling between BASH and Nicky Jam happened from the beginning. Their synergy brought them to award shows such as Latin Grammy, Billboards, iHeart Radio, and Spotify, and to step foot on the stages of major festivals such as Reggaeton Beach Festival, Megaland, Baja Beach Fest, Nuremberg Airport Fest, Austin City Limits, Mala Luna Music Fest, Mia and Calibash Las Vegas and Los Angeles, to name a few.
